Natalie Kedge
Natalie set up Baileyfields in 2004 after noticing a shortfall in the number of firms offering specialist employment law services in the south east. She has since helped establish Baileyfields as one of the foremost specialists in the field. Natalie's understanding of employment law issues is second to none and having experienced first hand the difficulties both employers and employees face in the workplace, she also brings a good deal of support and empathy to her clients.
Natalie's career plans weren't initially with law she had originally planned to become an archeologist. However after taking a degree in Classics at university she found to her dismay that digging up bones and broken pottery provided more questions than answers, so her thoughts moved to law, an area which offers similar challenges but more definitive answers.
Natalie's first steps in the legal direction were to qualify as a Barrister and she remains to this day a member of Middle Temple, one of the Inns of Court. After a period at Allen & Overy and Freshfields in London, Natalie decided to also qualify as a solicitor and then spent eight years as a solicitor and partner with a practice in the City of London, where she honed her specialism in employment law.
Natalie is a member of the employment lawyers association and is a contributor to EMPLAW, a well recognised on line employment law resource.
In her freetime Natalie enjoys spending time with her family and pursuing an interest in travel, when time permits.
